Vegas Indoor SkydivingPosted By LasVegas.Net - 02/07/14

Vegas Indoor Skydiving's facility has been in operation for over 30 years.  Indoor skydiving is also known as bodyflight.  There are some physical requirements needed to practice the sport.  People must meet certain weight and height criteria.  Some health restrictions apply in order to use the facilities.  It can be a fun sport for both younger thrill seekers as well as adults.  Purchasing multiple flights can lower the cost per flight.  Reservations are not required.  Some preliminary training is provided before using the wind tunnel.  Wind speeds can reach up to 120 miles per hour.

One benefit of indoor skydiving is that there is no use of an airplane or a parachute required in order to experience flight time.  Bodyflight provides a longer flight time per outing than regular outdoor skydiving.  (Up to 3 minutes of flight time is possible when practicing bodyflight, compared to typically less than one minute of flight time in the case of regular outdoor skydiving.)  Some basic skills are taught before using the wind tunnel for the first time, including some different combinations of body movements.  Vegas Indoor Skydiving can provide a unique experience to those new to the bodyflight sport.
